The Eyes Of The Hunter: Chapter OneIt was silent. Too silent.

This alleyway was extremely quiet, so quiet that you could even hear the sound of your own blood pumping around your brain. The silence was so intense it filled the air around me with an eerie sensation, walking down this alleyway made me feel awkward, I felt like I was committing a serious crime by breaking the stillness with the sound of my heavy boots against the pavement. The rubbish bins down here were empty, they had been tipped over on purpose, some still had rubbish inside of them, but most of them were dented, snapped in half, or crushed into little squares. You lunged forward, hands curled into fists, prepared to bash Tony's nose in, until Steve wrapped an arm around your waist. You placed your hands on his arm and tried to pry it away, only causing him to tighten his grip. You kicked your feet, trying to free yourself.

"That was amazing, Bruce." You said, placing a pile of dishes by the sink.

"Thank you, I try." Bruce smiled at you, putting down his stack of dishes before pushing up his glasses. Steve walked in and put his dishes by the sink as well, "Can we just run the dish washer?"

"Yes, seeing as we're short on time we can." Bruce replied. You smiled at this, thankful that you wouldn't have to get pruny fingers, before starting to rinse the dishes and putting them in the dishwasher.

"Yes, he would be more than happy to welcome friends." Thor folded his arms across his chest, "Besides, Heimdall has probably already informed my father of our plan."

"Well, if Thor says it's okay then I'm going to trust him." Clint leaned back in his chair, precariously balancing it on two legs before draping an arm over the back of Natasha

"What was that about?" You heard Clint say before you were out of hearing range of the dining room.

You walked quickly to the elevator and pushed the call button, the elevator doors opening almost instantly.

"J.A.R.V.I.S.?"

"Yes Miss (Y/N)?"

"Can you take the elevator to the roof?"

"Of course, but I do suggest you be careful."
